One of the industry-leading independent technology assessment service firms, Principled Technologies, just updated their site with a ton of white papers covering performance on just about any product or technology.  You can check out their website at http://www.principledtechnologies.com/default.htm for the complete list, but I wanted to give you the links to their papers that cover virtualization performance on blade servers.

    Yeah, I’ve gotta come out and say that the study seems a bit flawed… Comparing a BL490 with 6 core, 12 DIMM, PCI-2.0 architecture with an 8 core, 18 DIMM slot, PCI-3.0 architecture really isn’t a fair comparison.. Although that isn’t shocking as most vendor funded “independent 3rd party” studies are fairly useless… regardless of which vendor commissioned the study

    Hi Yes I agree with Adam Wolfson, you cant rely on vendor funded studies, Have the Guys seen the Blade servers produced by Hitachi (HDS) ? They claim it come with 10 core and 1TB of memorry

    It is a nice set for performance resource, but I like the way you  covered in the Intel Blade Server. It make sense when seeing the white papers of Blade servers virtual performance.
