Dell PowerEdge FX2 Solution Increased Density and Simplified Setup vs HP Solution

A newly released paper from Principled Technologies shows the Dell PowerEdge FX2 took 133 fewer steps to deploy 42 servers vs an HP server solution in 62.8% less time.

The report shows that Principled Technologies installed and cabled a full rack of HP ProLiant DL360 Gen 9 1U servers along with 11 Dell PowerEdge FX2 chassis which consisted of 42 Dell PowerEdge FC630 servers.  The testing also included cabling the network and power cables.  According to the report, they found “the Dell PowerEdge FX2 solution can pack up to twice as much processing power into a single rack than a full rack of HP ProLiant DL360 Gen 9 servers.”
